Guardeli Phantom ("Phantom", "we", "us") is a classroom monitoring tool designed for use by schools and educators. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Teacher account information (name, email, school affiliation)
• Session metadata (session codes, timestamps, class information)
• Student display names and device identifiers during active sessions

Screenshot Data

Student screenshots are streamed in real-time from the Chrome extension to the teacher dashboard via WebSocket. Screenshots are transmitted as temporary data and are not stored on our servers. Once a session ends, no screenshot data is retained.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the monitoring service
• Authenticate teachers and manage sessions
• Improve the service and develop new features

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication (JWT), and hashed passwords (PBKDF2) to protect your data.
